October Jae began in 2019, inspired by our baby we lost during pregnancy. It became a way to bring beauty to her name and create something meaningful that lives in the work we do.

We’re a husband-and-wife duo who create together. Our story began through a shared passion for photography and faith, and it grew into a life built around curiosity, creativity, and a love for experiencing the world. We’ve lived in many places, traveled widely, and experienced different cultures and ways of life all of which shape how we see, feel, and capture what surrounds us. Our days are centered on family and creativity. We have a beautiful daughter who inspires the way we work and approach every project. These days, we call the Outer Banks home.

Morgan focuses on styling, photography, and shaping the look and feel of every project. Kenny brings stories to life through films. Together, we create work that’s thoughtful, personal, and true to the people and stories we’re working with.

October Jae is both our studio and our world, the place where ideas come to life visually. We help people, creatives, and businesses make sure everything they create feels connected and intentional.

Our studio is simple and flexible, using natural and studio light to capture moments that feel real and alive. On location, we choose spaces that feel lived-in and authentic from homes, shops, and open areas that let the work feel natural. Every detail, from lighting and atmosphere to mood and movement, is considered, but nothing is forced.

October Jae also includes a small clothing collection of statement pieces and casual essentials. Items that photograph beautifully but are designed to work in everyday life. Each piece reflects the same thoughtful, effortless approach we bring to our images and films.

Our work is about slowing down, trusting the process, and making sure every image, every moment, and every space feels like it belongs together.
